Program Basics & Learning

Essential information about our courses, what you'll learn, and how our programs work

+
What exactly will I learn in the financial forecasting program? +
Our comprehensive program covers cash flow modeling, scenario planning, risk assessment, and advanced Excel techniques for financial analysis. You'll work with real business cases from Australian companies, learning to build forecasts that actually help businesses make decisions. The curriculum includes quarterly budget reviews, variance analysis, and creating presentations for stakeholders. By the end, you'll have a portfolio of forecasting models you've built yourself.
How long does it take to complete the full program? +
Most students complete the program in 8-12 months, studying about 8-10 hours per week. We designed it to fit around work schedules, with flexible pacing options. Some students with strong analytical backgrounds finish in 6 months, while others prefer taking up to 15 months to really digest each module. The program launches again in September 2025, with early enrollment opening in July.
Do I need previous finance experience to succeed? +
Not at all. We start with fundamentals and build complexity gradually. About 40% of our successful students come from non-finance backgrounds – teachers, engineers, small business owners. You do need comfort with numbers and willingness to learn spreadsheet skills, but we teach everything from the ground up. The key is curiosity about how businesses actually work and dedication to practice.
What software and tools will I need access to? +
Microsoft Excel is essential – we recommend the full Office 365 subscription for the latest features. We also introduce students to Tableau for visualization and basic Python for data analysis, though these are optional advanced modules. All required software information is provided during enrollment, with student discounts available for most tools.

Enrollment & Pricing

Everything about joining our programs, payment options, and what's included

+
When is the next enrollment period opening? +
Our next major enrollment opens July 15, 2025, for the September start date. We limit each cohort to 150 students to maintain quality mentorship. Early bird registration runs through August 20th with a 15% discount. There's also a smaller January 2026 cohort, but September tends to be our most comprehensive offering with the full range of guest speakers and industry partnerships.
What payment plans are available? +
We offer several flexible options: full payment upfront with a 10% discount, 6-month payment plan, or 12-month extended plan. Students can also use study now, pay later through Afterpay for education. Corporate sponsorships and professional development budgets are welcome – we provide all necessary documentation for employer reimbursement programs.
Is there an application process or prerequisites? +
No formal application required, but we do recommend completing our free financial literacy assessment first. This helps us understand your starting point and suggest the right program level. Students with accounting degrees might skip certain modules, while others might benefit from our foundational math refresher course. The assessment takes about 20 minutes and gives you a realistic preview of the material.
What's included in the program fee? +
Everything: video lessons, downloadable templates, case study materials, monthly group coaching calls, access to our private student forum, and a certificate of completion. You also get lifetime access to course updates and new modules we add. The only extra costs are software subscriptions and optional printed materials, which most students don't need.

Support & Community

Technical help, learning support, and connecting with fellow students

+
What kind of support do I get when I'm stuck? +
Multiple support channels: email response within 24 hours on weekdays, live monthly Q&A sessions with instructors, and our active student forum where peers help each other. For complex technical issues, we offer one-on-one screen sharing sessions. Our teaching assistants are all program graduates who understand exactly where students typically struggle.
Can I get help with job applications or career transitions? +
We focus on skill development rather than job placement, but our career resources section includes resume tips, interview preparation, and networking strategies. Many graduates share their transition stories in our alumni forum. We also maintain connections with Australian finance teams who appreciate our curriculum, though we never promise specific employment outcomes.
How active is the student community? +
Very active! Our private Facebook group has over 800 current students and graduates. Weekly study groups form naturally, and many students collaborate on practice projects. We host quarterly virtual networking events and an annual in-person meetup in Sydney. The community often becomes one of the most valuable aspects of the program.
What if I need to pause my studies temporarily? +
Life happens, and we get it. Students can take up to a 6-month break without penalty, and your access remains active. Just email our support team when you're ready to resume. We've had students pause for new babies, job changes, health issues, or family commitments. The flexible nature of online learning makes this much easier than traditional programs.
